SPEECH ASSESSMENT
For your online learning you can... Re-evaluate your Pecha Kucha document, perhaps delete some images that are not worthy to include & re-evaluate what you said about the images you presented.
Practice your speech!!!!! 
This speech assessment is to help give you life skills to confidently present ideas to others in the future.
Take the opportunity to develop your public speaking skills.
The main issues for those who did present their the speech were:
1. Didnt practice their speech ~ take the time to practice at home.  
2. Didnt know what they were talking about ~ if you show an image then know the information about it.
3. Poor description of an image ~ "i like this building cause it looks cool" is not Y11 level speech quality.
4. Not using "archi-speak" to describe architecture ~ use the words from 
architectureschool.co.nz/architecture-speak.
5. Reading text word-for-word from your presentation off the whiteboard ~ dont do this, practice your speech.
6. Not engaging with the audience ~ learn to actively communicate with others, practice in front of your family.
7. Didnt speak for 2+ minutes ~ time your speech by practicing it.
8. Spoke for to long ~ didnt use archi-speak & spoke randomly about lots of stuff without saying much, not prepared.

9. If you didnt present your speech then use all the notes above as inspiration to do your speech at home.

- Title page: your name, site location, purpose, design era, height, design feature
- Page 2: issue & elevator pitch sentence
- Only 6 pages to describe your project with images, no words
- Delete all other pages of the copy of your Pecha Kucha document
- Rename your doc 11AOF - AS90857 - Your name
- Share your doc with Marc

- Write speech notes about your Pecha Kucha
- Include some of these architecture words in your speech to describe your project

Site, plan, elevation, section, detail, form, function, scale, proportion, volume, axis, symmetry, asymmetry, aesthetic, structure, cantilever, datum, gradient, contour, topography, pre fabrication, mass production  
- Practice your speech, present your speech with confidence, dont fake it, dont wing it

Convincingly + Effectively
- For Achieved you can use cue cards 
- For Merit practice your speech & present without cue cards, be confident, know what your talking about (convincingly)
- For Excellence 'command attention' when presenting, practice-practice-practice your speech (effectively)

For Merit & Excellence you should know all about your inspiration projects. Justify why you picked them, use some of the the 22 architecture words to describe the architecture that inspired you & why. Don't just say "there cool, I like them"
